If you have a strategy to acquire more likes on Facebook, you should consider using a Fan Gate for your business. It’s a way of getting new fans and promoting another offer.

I’ve set mine up so that when someone new gets to my page, they’ll be asked to “Like” my page for a 10% coupon for my services. Immediately after they click “Like” I promote my email newsletter where they just click “Register” to sign up. The forms autopopulates with their contact info so it’s a simple click to grab it.

However you take advantage of the ability to use these Facebook Tabs, make sure the call to action is clear and simple with clean design.

Here’s what my Offer Tab looks like from my Page.

Fan Gate Functionality

After clicking on “Get the Offer, ” you get to this page where you click “Like.” This is the “Gate” that my new visitor needs to get through to get the offer.

Success!

Once they are a fan, they get their bonus offer – they can subscribe to my newsletter for social media strategies and stuff. Easy peasy!

Instagram just launched Reels, Facebook's answer to Tiktok! I tested it out for the first time and well, I need more practice for sure! Or I needed more coffee. Surely I needed help in general.
